Class Descriptions
FAMILY OBEDIENCE CLASSES
Dogs need to learn many skills in our homes to become well behaved
members of our families. These courses build the relationships between
the family and dog with positive, respectful training methods the family
dog requires to become a good family pet.

PUPPY SOCIALIZATION
REQUIREMENTS: This class is open to puppies 8 weeks to 5 months of age

based on the assessment of the instructor. Puppies must have completed their first
set of vaccinations to participate.
**Please note that there is some risk of disease when young puppies are
exposed to the outside world before they are fully vaccinated. However, several
critical developmental and socialization periods end prior to the completion of
the vaccination schedule and there is a definite risk of inadequate socialization if the
puppy is delayed before taking the puppy into the outside world. Since more dogs
are euthanized due to behavioral problems than from puppyhood diseases, CTBS LLC.
offers this class to take advantage of the socialization and training benefits derived from
working with a puppy under the age of 14 weeks old. We recommend that you talk with
your veterinarian about the ways to reduce the risk for your puppy before enrolling in the
Puppy Socialization Class.**
