FAMILY OBEDIENCE CLASSES
Dogs need to learn many skills in our homes to become well behaved members of our families. These courses build the relationships between the family and dog with positive, respectful training methods the family dog requires to become a good family pet.

FAMILY HOUSEHOLD OBEDIENCE LEVEL 1
This class is designed for dogs 5 months of age and older with no prior training. All breeds accepted. Traditional exercises such as Come, Sit, Down, Stay, Stand, Off, Chewing and Jumping are covered. Special attention will be to solving problem home behavior. Grooming, First-Aid, Exercise and Nutrition will be discussed.

FAMILY HOUSEHOLD OBEDIENCE- LEVEL 2
This class is for graduates of the Family Household Obedience. This class will further enhance the relationship between the pet and owner. SCHEDULE: Class meets for 45 minutes for 6 weeks.

PUPPY SOCIALIZATION

REQUIREMENTS: This class is open to puppies 8 weeks to 5 months of age

at the start of class. Older puppies who are smaller may be admitted to this class

based on the assessment of the instructor. Puppies must have completed their first

set of vaccinations to participate.

**Please note that there is some risk of disease when young puppies are exposed to the outside world before they are fully vaccinated. However, several critical developmental and socialization periods end prior to the completion of the vaccination schedule and there is a definite risk of inadequate socialization if the puppy is delayed before taking the puppy into the outside world. Since more dogs are euthanized due to behavioral problems than from puppyhood diseases, CTBS LLC. offers this class to take advantage of the socialization and training benefits derived from working with a puppy under the age of 14 weeks old. We recommend that you talk with your veterinarian about the ways to reduce the risk for your puppy before enrolling in the Puppy Socialization Class.**

DESCRIPTION: This class is designed to influence puppy development, knowledge, and owner skills in order to help dogs develop into happy, safe and obedient pets. Behavior problem prevention, house soiling, nuisance barking, separation anxiety and household destruction will be addressed.

SCHEDULE: Class meets for 1 hour a week for 6 weeks.
